Flight BA 247 to São Paulo Brazil departs at 2205 hrs this evening. Despite all the newspaper and media reports, there were 1) no delays on the motorway, 2) no traffic jams at the airport, 3) no lack of staff at check-in or security, and 4) no cancelled flights. Do we live in a parallel universe? Or is this just fake news?
Either way, we arrived in plenty of time with plenty of luggage for two months’ travel. It’s a 12 hour flight with some extra connections at the other end. The big adventure begins!
