Florianopolis -> El Calafate

Yesterday we left Florianopolis at 12 noon and flew five hours to El Calafate, which is the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park, in deepest southern Patagonia. We flew over some remarkable desolate landscapes, until we touched down in El Calafate.

We are staying at the Eolo Lodge, equidistant between the town and the Perito Moreno glacier. We are here for four nights.
