Yesterday we tracked a pack of seven African Wild Dogs (Lycaon Pictus) who brought down and ate an impala with astonishing speed. We then went looking for Cape Cobras (naja nivea) in the huge communal nests of sociable weaver birds. Thankfully none were found. Topped off the day with a helicopter tour over the Tswalu Kalahari Reserve which covers 114,000 hectares (250,000 acres). Breathtaking.
